Early Childhood Teacher

First Steps is seeking a certified Montessori teacher or teacher with Montessori early childhood experience ready to take the Montessori training (professional development assistance is available) to lead a small early childhood classroom of up to 10 students ages 3-5 years.

First Steps is a year round program.

The hours for the position are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The position requires a minimum of a two year college degree.

The ideal candidate will:

• have a passion for working with young children and a minimum of two years teaching experience
• desire an environment that helps children develop foundational skills that they will carry on and build upon for the rest of their lives
• be looking for individual growth through ongoing professional and spiritual development, individualized mentorship and a supportive network of peers.

Whether you are a trained Montessorian with a lifetime of experience or you’ve just discovered it, we want to hear from you!
